One of the parrot-like Cover-up defenses of Trumpdum has been:
The bottom line: Ukraine “got the money” — so there is No Quid Pro Quo.
Ummm NO.
Ukrainians are still dying fighting the Russian occupiers. The White House is STILL blocking them the funds to fight for, and defend their own democratic sovereignty. Against US national interests, and against US national will, by the way.
Impeachment Fact-Check: Military Funding Did Not Get To Ukraine, Shredding Trump Defense
The House impeachment report documents more evidence undercutting one of the White House’s last factual defenses to impeachment — the claim that there can’t be an impeachable abuse of power if Ukraine ultimately got the military money that was froze.
In this report, MSNBC’s Ari Melber draws on the evidence in the new House report, and other material, to show millions of dollars have still not reached Ukraine, raising key issues for the impeachment probe. — Dec 5, 2019
14% of the Appropriated funds have STILL been denied to Ukraine — $35 Million dollars, still being held back by the Trump Administration. That’s not a ‘rounding error’. That’s intentional.
This is happening NOW.
And it is entirely new evidence against Trump. And a Fact-check for those without facts:
No harm, No foul. The Ukrainians got the money — so what’s the problem?

PS. If they can’t see what the problem is — perhaps they need to re-read the Constitution again.
Of read it for the very 1st time — if the shoe fits …
Gold Star Father Challenged Trump with a Copy of the Constitution.

I have a feeling there is overwhelming need for these ‘new shoes’ in land of Trump excesses. (A land of excessive lack of patriotism too … as Trump makes it ‘cool to parrot Putin’ … as just a normal part of of their world view.)
Putin may be smiling … Meanwhile the world laughs.

Oath of Office
Upon taking office, senators-elect must swear or affirm that they will "support and defend the Constitution." The president of the Senate or a surrogate administers the oath to newly elected or re-elected senators. The oath is required by the Constitution; the wording is prescribed by law.

(Psst Senators: it kind of helps if you’ve read it … recently. It’s your solemn Oath, by the way, which should not even have to be said.)
