Everything is so crazy right now! So Trump is president. Ugh. Really America? That’s who you chose?
And the Mainstream Media cannot, literally cannot stop covering him every single day. And even though they do, he still seems to have had a pass. If a Democrat had done 1/10th of the things 45 has done, it would be wall to wall coverage non stop on all the cable channels.
And now the race for president is on, and there are 20 something candidates. And then there is the climate emergency that everyone but the US seems to think is a huge deal. Every other country is moving on and doing things about it. But not the US, of course. Because the GOP is the most dangerous organization in the world, quoting Noam Chomsky. And they and the MSM control everything.
So here we are. I joined a group after the election, to protest and everything.
Then I became discouraged because taking part in the group seemed to have no effect. I posted on Facebook but most of my friends, and my gay “so called” friends did not respond or seem to care.
Why can’t we in the US have stuff like every other developed nation, like Universal Healthcare, and almost free college for all, and developed infrastructure like high speed rail, and sensible energy policy? And better mass transit?
Why the hell are we litigating elections and why is voter suppression a thing? Why the hell did the Democrats in Florida and Georgia lose? Because their states have this thing called voter suppression!
They lost by such a small percentage! And yet, they lost, because voter suppression. Just like that congressperson a couple years ago lost, in Georgia. I can’t remember his name. Such a shame. And almost no one super famous did anything about it. Why not?
I wish someone would challenge Mitch McConnell in Kentucky. He will block anything great from happening in the senate, even if Democrats wrestle victory from the jaws of defeat for the white house. 45’s poll numbers are down against Bernie and Biden and Warren at the moment. But someone or some people should be talking about defeating McConnell in 2020.
