This pattern of hiding Trump’s abuse of power phone calls with foreign leaders — is as entirely serious as the Nixon Tapes. If not more so.
What ever happened to “transparency”? What ever happened to protecting OUR national interests?
Report: White House hid Trump transcripts with Putin, Saudi royals
— Axios.com, Sept 28, 2019
The White House didn't just hide the Trump-Ukraine phone call, CNN reported last night — it also locked down transcripts with Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Saudi royal family, including crown prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Why it matters: This aligns with the whistleblower complaint, which noted that White House officials said there was a pattern of hiding personally sensitive phone calls on systems designed to protect national security secrets.

• "The practice began after details of Mr. Trump’s Oval Office discussion with the Russian foreign minister, Sergey V. Lavrov, leaked to the news media, leading to questions of whether the president had released classified information," the Times reported.
Trump claims he never “colluded with Russia” — meanwhile his hidden words tell an entirely different story. One that was “locked down” never to be told to Americans, whose interests he just betrayed …
Report: Trump told Russians he didn't care about 2016 election interference
— Axios.com, Sept 27, 2019
President Trump said he was not concerned about Russia's 2016 election interference during a 2017 meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak, the Washington Post reports.
Trump told Russian officials he was unconcerned about election interference – report
— TheGuardian, Sept 27, 2019
The White House reportedly restricted access to comments that Donald Trump made in a 2017 Oval Office meeting with two senior Russian officials, concealing that he told them he was unconcerned about Moscow’s interference in the 2016 US election, according to the Washington Post.

The 2017 White House meeting between Donald Trump and the Russian foreign minister, Sergei Lavrov, and the Russian ambassador to the US, Sergey Kislyak, has long been controversial. It took place shortly after Trump fired James Comey, and Trump reportedly used the meeting to disparage the FBI director as a “nut job”, saying his dismissal relieved “great pressure” on him. Trump was also reported to have shared Israeli intelligence related to Isis with the Russian officials.
But Trump’s remarks about being unconcerned about Moscow’s interference in the 2016 election especially troubled White House officials because they made it seem like the president forgave Russia for an attack intended to help elect him, according to the Post.
Team Trump was “so troubled” by Trump’s colluding betrayal of Democracy with the Russians, that they “locked down” the evidence on a Top Secret Server — so that it would NEVER be seen again.
This should not be tolerated — in our democracy Of, By, and For the People.
And granted, Adam Schiff told Rachel Maddow that the White House Officials are now under “preservation orders” — that they must preserve ALL records as they currently exist.
ONE BIG PROBLEM with that approach:
It assumes that Team Trump ACTUALLY FOLLOWS THE LAW.
History and experience — and now the evidence — are showing that THIS is hardly the case.
—
Nixon somehow managed to erase the worse 18 minutes of the Nixon Tapes.
Are we going to let Team Trump wipe the evidence, that they were so careful to hide away from “prying eyes” too? Like some pesky “preservation order” is going to stop them?
Get a Court Injunction TODAY:
One that orders the National Security Counsel Directorate, do the following:
1) Change the coded access to that server, so that the abusers no longer have access to it.
2) Locate and take physical possession of all backup media related to that server.
3) Take physical possession of server itself, so that the abusers no longer have physical access to it.
Then Congress and Intel Directors must then assemble an appropriate Committee of Intelligence Officials and Public servants — so that the truly Top Secret info, can be separated out from, the Trump abuse of power evidence — that may still reside there on Trump’s hidey-hole Secret Server.
The current revelations of yesterday and today — indicate that there are probably WAY MORE than 18 minutes of presidential abuse of power — documented on that Server that the Nation MUST be made aware of.
That is — if we ever hope to heal and recover from this sad destructive chapter of American History, known as the Trump presidency. Aka America’s failed Apprentice experiment.
That is — if we act with all due expedited diligence, that the urgency of the times — and the historic need to preserve the Trump Collusion evidence — truly deserves.
