Today in my mail I received a 2020 election poll from some organization called “Catholic Vote.”
It had a letter saying that the radical “Democrat” party hates America and hates God and hates Catholics and is trying to destroy America and all that typical right wing propaganda crap. It had a survey that you take and send back to them.
So, I figured I would have some fun with it and answer it and send it back.
It asked who I would be voting for and of course I said I would definitely vote for Biden.
It then asked if I supported the “Democrat” policy of allowing babies to be murdered up until the moment of birth or do I support President Trump’s pro-life position. I said I am pro choice.
It asked what I though about Trump’s Supreme Court nominees. “terrible” was one of the choices and I checked that one.
It asked if I support the economic policies under Trump or do I support the “socialist” & “anti business” policies and economic stagnation under President Obama.
Of course I said I support the “socialist” policies of Obama.
It then asked if I support Trump’s policy of de-funding Planned Parenthood. I said I do not.
It then asked how I would rate Trump’s presidency. I filled in the oval next to “Very Poor” and then wrote in “Worst president ever” right next to it.
I though I would have a little more fun and write the hypocrites a letter, so I did so and attached it to the survey.
Here is how it went:
Dear Catholic Vote,
Thank you for sending the voter survey to me. I wonder why you would assume that I am Republican and that I support Donald Trump. I most certainly do not support Donald Trump and I am not Republican. I think he is a hateful, divisive, nasty, disgusting person and I would never consider voting for him. I despise the man. I think any Christian or Catholic who supports him should be ashamed of themselves. How any Christian could support this man is shocking to me.
Donald Trump is one of the most un-Christ-like men I have ever seen or heard. He is an adulterer, a sexual predator, a sexual harasser and a lifelong criminal. He is a racist and a bigot. Every time he opens his mouth he spews out hatred and bile and lies, and he has no conscience.
He is arrogant, greedy, materialistic and just about everything Jesus was not. If Jesus came to Earth today Donald Trump is the kind of person Jesus would shun.
You say the Democratic Party is anti-Catholic? I believe it is the Republican Party which is anti-Catholic. Trump and the Republicans oppose everything that Jesus stood for. It is the Republicans and Trump that want to:
Take access to health care away from millions of Americans.
Oppose any program that helps the poor.
Put corporations’ bottom line above human lives.
Put corporations’ bottom line above the environment.
Oppose any attempt to raise the minimum wage.
It is the Republican Party who want to make the rich richer and make corporations richer.
Jesus told the rich man: sell what you have and give the money to the poor. Republicans want to give the rich tax cuts.
It is Republicans who support the death penalty.
It is Republicans who want to take billions away from the taxpayers to wage unnecessary wars.
Take billions away from the taxpayers to build a wall along the Mexican border.
Put children in cages.
The church has no business telling people how to vote. How and why a person votes the way they vote is their business and none of yours.
As for abortion I am pro-choice. If a woman wants to give birth to a baby that should be her choice and no one else’s. Not the Republican Party’s business and not the church’s business. It is her business. The church has no right to try to force a woman to give birth when she does not want to give birth.
Is same gender couples want to wed they should be able to wed no matter what state they live in. The church has no business telling anyone who they should or should not wed. The church has no right to tell gay couples that they should not be able to wed.
On election day I will most assuredly not be voting for Donald Trump. I will proudly vote for the Democratic nominee. If I have to stand in line for six hours and risk getting COVID 19 in order to vote against the hateful Trump I will gladly do so.

It felt good to give these fake Christian Trump supporting hypocrites a piece of my mind. I just hope somebody reads the letter.
How any decent person who considers themselves a Christian can support the disgusting monster in the White House is mind-boggling.
