Is Donald Trump is close to his breaking point? His two-hour screed yesterday proved he just may be. The more he is pressured from all sides the sooner he could break down completely.
Why do I think this? Advisors, GOP operatives, the Wall Street Journal all have said Trump should talk less at the daily briefings but instead of relinquishing the mic he has taken it over it completely!
It gets worse. It is widely agreed that Trump is a malignant narcissist. His condition has worked for him up to now as those who are weak of mind see him as strong and decisive, which couldn’t be further from the truth. He is in reality an overblown fake, grifter, and giant gasbag ready to blow.
Further proof of Trumps impending implosion was on display yesterday at his daily briefing, no propaganda fest, a Trumped up video of his great accomplishments during this deadly pandemic. It shows he is paying attention to what is being said about him, and it is getting to him, big time!
Jenifer Rubin in the Washington Post annotates some of Trumps best screeds from yesterday’s marathon so called briefing; Trump’s authority isn’t ‘total.’ But his unfitness is.
Less focus fell upon his encounter with CBS’s Paula Reid, who pressed him to explain what he did during the month of February. He snarled, “A lot. A lot.” However, he had no alibi to explain his disappearance from the front lines, now documented by multiple news outlets.
And...
Pressed to answer who told him that his power was absolute, his only recourse was to bark “enough” at CNN’s Kaitlan Collins. Another reporter asked where in the Constitution such powers emanated, Trump replied as any student caught delivering a book report for a book he has not read, “Lots of provisions. Lots of provisions.” (Perhaps Article XII?)
Our country under Trump is more than just divided between red states and blue states. We are polarized between the selfless and the selfish. Authoritarian and the democratic. Tolerant and the intolerant. Bigots and we, humanitarians. Have and have nots. Lovers and haters. Good and evil. White hats and red hats.
The real implosion of Trump will come when the election season begins in earnest. When ads hammer, no bludgeon him, daily.
Hunter Biden won’t work for him. His response to Corina Virus has written his epitaph. His daily screeds are oil on his raging fire of imbecility and incompetence.
Yes, his 42% or so will be with him no matter what, as they are more lost and forlorn than he is. But, we Democrats are showing signs of unity, not dissent. Trump has unified the majority of our country. The fight is ours to win.
Will Trump truly implode, only time will tell? Certainly his bodily stamina to absorb his own political and mental demise should be watched, carefully.
Trump’s assent will ultimately lead to his downfall. He may very well take with him the entire Republican establishment. The Senate is very much in play, so are the states and cities.
Stay tuned. Get a broom; can the blue wave become a clean sweep?
Trumps legacy has already being written. We need to insure that his days in the White House are numbered.

Peace. Love. Defeat Trump.
