For more than 50 years democrats and republicans have been drifting apart. Well, that’s not exactly true. Republicans have been drifting, running, hopping and jumping to the right wrong. Democrats have been consistent — support progress towards a better society and policies that promote the greater good.
This republican ad from 1956 highlights just how far they’ve regressed. Today’s republicans will say this never happened and call it fake news. (Even though it’s an ad, they only have that one blanket ‘fake’ charge anymore. It tends to get over and misused).
I’m not sure they really want to go back to the fifties.
Tonight we’ll compare Democrats and republicans. For the purposes of this comparison liberals, progressives and Democrats will be referred to as Democrats. Conservatives, reactionaries, republicans, libertarians, Nazis, the KKK and pedophiles will be referred to as republicans.

Republicans try to ignore problems and take credit for anything the Democrats did while blaming the Democrats for causing the problem in the first place. |
Republicans have started a new organization for their red-hatted brigades of Vicious, Ignorant, Lying Enablers.
I’m kinda worried about what comes next.
Karma is coming for them.
The stench really does rub off on the enablers.
