Trump: U.S. to pull out of W.H.O

Trump has announced today that the United States will essentially pull out of the W.H.O. and will cease all funding to this organization. In rationalizing this decision, he specifically cited and faulted the W.H.O for wrongfully suggesting that China was being transparent regarding their handling of the coronavirus.

Trump today: “Had the WHO done its job to get medical experts into China to objectively assess the situation on the corned and to call out China’s lack of transparency, the outbreak could have been contained at its source,”
