The Time has come for Democrats to Change the Way they Plan to Vote

Only 17% of Republicans prefer to vote by mail whereas 58% of Democrats prefer to vote by mail according to a recent Pew Research study.  Trump and his new Postmaster General are therefore doing everything they can to reduce the effectiveness of the US postal system in time for the November election by firing top USPS leadership, reducing staffing and overtime, changing mail delivery policies, and removing key sorting equipment.

The time has come for Democrats to change the way they plan to vote in order to save the US from a dictatorship.

Actions You Can Take

• Make every effort to vote in person if you are physically able to do so
• Vote early to avoid lines
• If you do vote by mail, mail your ballot in as soon as possible to avoid delay
• Don’t expect that hand-delivering your mail-in ballot to the county elections office will be completely fool-proof, especially in red counties during the last days of the voting period.  Election offices aren’t designed to be ballot collection points and Republicans may take steps to create wait lines or otherwise make this error-prone.  If you do deliver your ballot to the elections office, do so early.
• If you know a postal worker, encourage them to keep their eyes and ears open and report any nefarious operating changes to the ACLU
• Contribute to organizations like the ACLU, Fair Fight, and the Biden campaign
