We’ve talked before about the “Black Is Beautiful” collaboration, and those beers are starting to appear. I haven’t gone to find any yet, but there’s been some discussion on the homebrew club email list. The Bay Area Brewer’s Guild has a list, looks like I could find 5 in the San Jose area.

The Russian River BIB is already sold out, but a club member lucky enough to get some offered this review:

xxxx gave me a couple cans of Russian River "Black is Beautiful" and they're the dog's bollocks! 😃

Can you tell that reviewer immigrated from England? Not everyone on the list was sure this strange British-ism was a compliment (it is).

I’m drinking the last Wild Little Thing now, and everything else cold is hoppy. I have Golden Road Wolf Pup IPA, and Berryessa House IPA (they’re in Winters CA, north of Sacramento). What are you drinking? Who’s brewing?
