Don White is 82 and says he hasn't had his heart medication for a week even though he said the package has been sitting at a north Houston post office for 10 days.

HOUSTON — Operational changes at the U.S. Postal Service are causing delays in mail deliveries all over the country. A man in Humble said he had to go without his daily heart medication for a week due to the delays.
"There have been a few times in which it’s taken a week, week and a half, two weeks, but this is the first time I actually ran out and checking with the post office didn't do much good, even though I had a tracking number on it,” White said.
White’s family was able to get him some stop gap medications through another source.
As an older American who relies on getting my three heart medications on a daily basis, this strikes me as sadistic, and unbelievably self centered of Trump. Putting people’s lives at risk for his own selfish political purposes would seem to be criminal negligence on Trump and DeJoy’s parts.
