Be careful what viral USPS photos you believe

The 8 tweet thread was re-tweeted by ace Trump fact-checker Daniel Dale.  It’s about a viral photo of a huge pile of blue USPS drop-off boxes.  Problem is, it’s a yard of a company that has a USPS contract to refurbish the boxes.

When I called up Hartford Finishing, Inc., a woman on the phone confirmed that they have a government contract for the mailbox refurbishing and that they "get them from all over and make them look good again" (2/8)

He goes on to explain that the Reuters photo library did not provide any context as to what this pile of boxes truly represented nor what was at the location.
