According to polling by Ipsos, the mythology of DJT as elite businessman and economic guru is starting to break down for a majority of Americans. The polls summarized below are specifically polls of registered voters, taken since Biden became the presumptive nominee. The first has DJT with a 54% approval on the economy and a net of +13%. The last has him at 47% approval with no net approval. It’s not exactly a straight downward trend, but he may very well be underwater by a point or two come election day. Considering that this is his best issue, it’s nice to see.
