How pathetic has tRump become? The ostensible “agent of chaos” is, perhaps, the most predictable person on the planet. On his own he is only capable of responding to his fears. He’s not even the person who thought up his most heinous acts (we’re looking at you UberTaintedFury Miller). We’ve seen enough of tRump’s pattern to know how he’ll react.
- If you are an indicted co-conspirator of his and are in a position to testify against him, he’ll offer you a commutation or pardon.
- He’ll call any legitimate criticism of himself fake news. And he’ll use schoolyard insults on the source of the critique.
- He’ll deny any responsibility for anything.
- He’ll run away when pressed by a reporter.
- If you are a ruthless dictator, he’ll offer to give you a public tongue bath.
- If you are part of his inner circle of cronies and toadies and happen to get arrested, he’ll claim he didn’t or barely knew you.
Last night Barack Obama said, “Donald tRump hasn’t grown into the job, because he can’t.” I submit he’s actually gotten worse at it as his mental condition worsened. He’s become a catchall synonym for lazy, paranoid, petty, vindictive, sleazy scumsucker.
His day now consists of: watching hours and hours of TV; tweeting about what he’s seen; golfing or thinking about golfing; whining to anyone he can get to listen about this, that and the other; chatting with his cronies on an unsecured phone; not listening to his briefings; yelling incoherently at the White House staff; stuffing his face; sitting on the toilet; and way down at the bottom of the list — pretending to work.
The most recent threat to tRump from inside his administration came from Miles Taylor, former Chief of Staff at DHS from 2017 into 2019. From CNN
Earlier Tuesday, Trump downplayed Taylor's role in his administration, calling him a "disgruntled employee"
in a tweet despite the fact he served at a senior level.
The President went on to call Taylor a "lowlife" he's never heard of while talking to reporters in Yuma, Arizona.
"All of a sudden he's badmouthing," Trump said. "Reason is the Democrats or somebody got to him and said, 'How would you like to speak?' or whatever. He's a lowlife. Anybody that does that is a lowlife to me. And it's a shame."
Totally predictable, right? Miles Taylor was involved in meetings with tRump, at a minimum, dozens of times. Poor liddle Donnie got his tender fee-fees hurt. I feel so not bad for him.
Here are some other things tRump never met:
- tRump never met a law he wouldn’t ignore.
- tRump never met a norm he wouldn’t break.
- tRump never met an ally he wouldn’t betray.
- tRump never met an agreement he wouldn’t breach.
- tRump never met a person he wouldn’t try to bully.
- tRump never met a person he wouldn’t try to cheat.
- tRump never met a lie he wouldn’t tell.
- tRump never met a cruel impulse he wouldn’t give in to.
- tRump never met an accolade he deserved.
- tRump never met a crime he wouldn’t commit.
- tRump never met a business he couldn’t bankrupt.
- tRump never met a charity he wouldn’t defraud.
- tRump never met a fact he wouldn’t deny.
- tRump never met a payment he wouldn’t default.
- tRump never met a crook he wouldn’t hire.
- tRump never met a swamp he wouldn’t turn into a cesspit.
- tRump never met a situation he wouldn’t try to make worse.
- tRump never met a woman he would respect.
I’m sure you all have lots of suggestions for additions to all the lists.

Evening Shade appears every evening at 7:30PM Eastern (unless I get lazy).
Cut and Paste Department. This is the regularly scheduled plea for readers. I’ve still only had to make two memes. You have it within your power to make me work. If you spread the word about Evening Shade and your spreadee announces themselves in the comments, you will become eligible to receive your very, very special noprize of a meme of your very own. All you have to do is jump up and get out there and start carnival barking, cajoling, proselytizing (or pimping, if you are of an irreligious bent). You could even pester and push. Procrastination is not an option — it’s a way of life.
