Last night, as I watched 13-year-old Brayden Harrington’s inspirational and emotionally wrenching testimony about Joe Biden’s life-changing kindness and caring, born of Biden’s own childhood struggles with stuttering, I was texting with a group of friends — cynics all. We concluded that 1) there will definitely be stuttering “truthers” who believe Biden never actually had a stutter and 2) some asshole Trump fans will make fun of this.
I’m sure you saw Brayden’s courageous and moving address by now, but here it is just in case you missed it:
For anyone who was teased or scorned or underestimated as a child for being “different,” Brayden’s speech was inspiring, and I have to admit it had me on the verge of tears.
So you know what happens next.
Cue the assholery!
And as CNN’s Jake Tapper helpfully points out — yes, this guy is a Trump-style Christian (i.e., a hypocritical asshole).

I fear this will become another Pizzagate-level conspiracy theory. I mean, Joe Biden simply can’t be as decent, empathetic, and resilient as he appears — because that would mean he’s so much more genuine and human than the spiteful and squalid Donald Trump — so let’s just try to pretend this is all fake.
False-flag stuttering. If Alex Jones hasn’t already embraced this theory, I’m sure he will very soon.
These people are shameless, and they will clearly stop at nothing to turn the U.S. into a hateful theocracy.
So we have to do everything we can to stop them.
