I gotta confess that this week’s post is a kind of placeholder, reflecting a bit of a calm before the storm. Oh, there was no shortage of hilarity from our adversaries on the Right—there never is, those people are neither very bright nor very good at what they do. But this week marks the Republican National Convention, which is liable to make all my previous tweet collections look like brief snarky comments.

So, while I’ve done my best to make this week’s TOTW as fun as possible, I hope you’ll return next week as well for a roundup of Twitter’s reaction to the upcoming racist, criminal clownshow. Too terrifying for the circus, too hilarious for a regular Nazi rally—it’s the Republican National Convention.

In the meantime, let’s see what Trump and his accomplices have been getting up to this past week.
