This story has nothing to do with politics — except perhaps somehow as a lesson and reminder that even the most industrially and technologically advanced countries can fall far from grace under the wrong leadership. 

This video was taken in 1902 in Wuppertal, Germany, and was released last week by the Museum of Modern Art:

It is shot on 68mm film and is unusually clear.  The subject matter too seems kind of surreal — but it’s a train that’s unique to that location in Germany, see below:
