3 Strikes - Yes, Evangelicals, God is sending you a message

How many times has one of the TV preachers told us God had sent a hurricane to someplace as a warning against some kind of sin. Well,

In 2008, a hurricane interfered with the Republican convention delaying Bush’s planned opening night appearance;

In 2012, a hurricane caused the cancellation of the first day of the Republican Convention;

In 2020, a major hurricane is hitting during the third and fourth nights of the Republican Convention. At a minimum, the big story today and tomorrow will be the hurricane.

If God is sending a message, the message is pretty clear, Evangelicals, he does not like something about Republicans.

(BTW, the 2016 convention was held a month earlier and not during the peak of hurricane season.)
