Welcome to Woozle Wednesday
Hello Peeps, welcome to our little corner of Woozleville. Yes, it’s Woozle Wednesday, that day of the week when the PWBP Pooties take the day off and the pooches come to the rescue and take up the slack — well, those that are trained not to pull on their leashes. Don’t worry, pootie lovers, the kitties insist on making an appearance even though it is supposed to be their day off. They just can’t help putting in their two meows worth. Other critters like birdeez, farm animals, and sometimes wild creatures, will also make appearances from time to time.
Outdoor Theatre Comes To Woozleville
Yes, the heat is on in Woozleville. Summer activities have been going full steam with baseball, barbecues, boating, and other frivolities. There have been some local fairs, properly social distanced of course so that the Peeps can join in.
Even with all that hubbub, tonight the sharp-nosed woozles have noticed some special excitement is in the air! Why? Because summer stock has come to the village. Or precisely, the Woozleville Amateur Shakespeare Society. And they are putting on a show. In fact, they have quite a lineup this season.
The volunteers have been making lots of preparations. While the players rehearsed, the Woozleville parks department painted and refreshed the outdoor stage. The birdeez were put in charge of costumes (they have experience sowing seeds). Working animals familiar with tools built and hauled the sets. More pampered pets shopped for the props. Artistically inclined zoo animals have been making posters announcing the shows. The Scout Pups and Kittens have distributed flyers and will act as ushers. Everyone is involved! Folks from all the surrounding communities are expected to attend.
Finally, it’s Opening Night! But before the curtain rises, we must pause and make sure that the Rulz are prominently posted, per our arrangement with the Management:
THE RULZ
- Do not “Troll” the Pootie Peeps Diaries. If you don’t like animal diaries, there’s no need to tell us about it. Just go find some other diary more to your liking.

- If you would like a pic from the comment threads, please ask the poster. He/she may have a copyright to those pics. Many thanks!
- There are some pics we never post: 1) snakes and creepy crawlies (some folks have phobias). 2) Any and all photos that depict or encourage human cruelty toward animals, even in jest, are considered “out of bounds” and will not be tolerated.
- If you’re not sure about an issue or need some pet advice...please ask. Someone is always glad to help.
- Links to stories of interest and fundraisers are always welcome here under the Community Links banner. Give just a short explanation with the link, plea
