Facing cancer surgery Monday, I request your help—to support Jacob Blake

For those of you who have been following my plight my surgery is finally near.  I don’t know what all they will find, how it will turn out, and as with any surgery there is no guarantee I will wake up on the table.

I have a Wife and small family unit, but they need my support.  

But you know what?  Jacob Blake has children.

Those children saw their Daddy get shot, paralyzed, denigrated, and slurred.

Those children are behind a huge eight ball.

Those children and his family need help.

So if you want to support me, if praying is your thing, great.

But if donating is your thing, in my honor, in support of me, support this man and his family.

I am using my platform to help them because my privilege needs to be shared.  And there are no guarantees I will get another chance.

So yes this is my time to ask for attention.  To gain sympathy, supporters, whatever.

So give all that to this man, this living personification of what it means to be fundamentally seen as not equal.  I am asking that whatever donations you give you give in amounts with a seven in them.

Whatever you can.  Yes he has raised some however that is a paltry sum for a lifetime of disability and no amount makes up for having to spend the rest of one’s life in a wheelchair.  The picture below is what it means to be dehumanized.  

I just ask one selfish thing-make sure when you donate you say Rule of Claw sent you.
