Chris Wallace found the Trump speech “flat”. But didn’t you know that Trump was a “saintly feminist”? The GOP would have you believe that “my African-American” thanks that unlike Bill Clinton, Trump is the first Black POTUS.

Structurally, this speech is a mess. But one thing that leaps out at me: Trump (or his speechwriters) settled on a single line of attack against Biden -- that he's a weak president who in in thrall to a radical left that wants to destroy America and its traditions.
