The Economist's model: Biden "very likely" to win

Just a quick hit of feel-good news.

According to the current analysis of The Economist, Biden is predicted to win 54.5% of the popular vote. 

The web page — which is full of colorful charts I was unable to paste here —  also states that Biden now has an 89% chance of winning the electoral college.  But honestly, it’s unclear to me whether that number represents merely a current snapshot of the polls, or an actual prediction. 

Perhaps someone with a better understanding of polls can chime in.  In any event, whatever these numbers mean, sure looks like positive news to me.
