I had great plans to write a diary. Time escaped me with duties. But, then I found this video. I liked this song when it was released (1970’s) and didn’t know that it had this collection of film attached until recently. I hope you all will see gardens that you know and love.
I personally recognize Duke gardens (Durham, NC) and Allerton gardens in Hawaii.
"SPOTLIGHT ON GREEN NEWS & VIEWS"

IT'S A GREAT WAY TO CATCH UP ON DIARIES YOU MIGHT HAVE MISSED. BE SURE TO RECOMMEND AND COMMENT IN THE DIARY.

My bug of the day was seen on the post supporting a pier. Hay seed and I were adding another section to the old deck. Here is a photo of our project.
While running electrical lines, I saw this beauty on a pier support. The post is 6 inches by 6 inches (the bolt is 3 / 4 inch diameter). This is Dolomedes albineus aka White-banded Fishing Spider.
There isn’t much known about the life cycle of this arachnid. You will see there are water lilies upon the pond. These spiders have been recorded eating insects, tadpoles and even small minnows. They are not web builders but hide in secret places. They will catch one’s attention if noticed.
