This Does Not Help

Fifteen or so years ago, I was someone (like many of you I hope) who cheered on the prospects of the conservative Tea Party-types forming their own party.

What better way of ensuring that the Republican party would disintegrate into a party with no ability to win national elections?

So, it is with disgust that I read this article today.

Seriously?

You think that by splitting the natural Democratic constituency into two it can help move the progressive cause forward?

The only possible outcome of this is to help conservatives control America for the coming decades.
