There is a new show on HBO, called Lovecraft Country.

So far (three episodes) I am hooked!!  I actually got hooked on the very first episode, but it just keeps getting better.  The subtext of racism in America is as haunting as anything Lovecraft (or King) could’ve written.  Set in the mid-50s, it also showcases some great music.  They do mess with my sense of Time, but that isn’t necessarily bad.  My only gripe is that in that era, there weren’t many southern accents in……….New England!!

If you have HBO, it is well worth the time to watch.

These kids have done a number of these, and I do get a kick out of them.

Whether it’s strictly unscripted or not...they’re fun!
