Yesterday, I was on a Lincoln Project zoom call for their clear-eyed assessment of the state of the presidential race. Message: all this turmoil and volatility was expected, predictable, and predicted. For months.  For every Rust Belt voter who Trump is scaring to be afraid of their shadow, a suburban voter in the Sunbelt has become completely disgusted.
