Welsh National Opera and Luke Evans Perform Queen Song for Pride Wales.

Like many mass events Pride Cwmru had to be cancelled as an in-person event. In compensation, the orchestra and chorus of Opera Cenedlaethol Cwmru  (Welsh National Opera) accompanied out actor/singer Luke Evans in a rendition of Queen’s “Who Wants to Live Forever?”

To satisfy (or increase) Welsh ex-patriots’ hiraeth, images of the performers are superimposed on various modern landmark buildings in the Cardiff Bay area including the WNO’s “home” at the Wales Millenium Centre (Canolfan Mileniwm Cymru), the Principality (rugby) Stadium and the Senedd, home of the Welsh Assembly. Older buildings shown include the town hall, Castle and Llandaff Cathedral.
