In my perambulations around the county, I occasionally encounter our feathered friends, the living dinosaurs.
During my weekday lunch walk I go through the county admin center. Between the courthouse and the highway there’s a bunch of trees. A hawk likes to hang out there.
Monday I was in the field doing a drone survey. The winery we were at, Donum Estate, has a resident population of hawks. Fortunately they didn’t attack the drone.
On my way home from work yesterday I met a flock of turkeys.
If I was a better photographer and quicker on the draw I’d have better photos.
Kitchen Table Kibitzing is a community series for those who wish to share a virtual kitchen table with other readers of Daily Kos who aren’t throwing pies at one another. Drop by to talk about music, your weather, your garden, or what you cooked for supper…. Newcomers may notice that many who post in this series already know one another to some degree, but we welcome guests at our kitchen table and hope to make some new friends as well.
Please do not attack Democratic candidates or drag primary fights into our community.
