Should protesters get tactical and STOP street demonstrations until Nov 3?

Portland remains a flashpoint, but is it helping the larger cause right now? We're between a rock and a harder place.

Counter intuitive, I know, but it seems that right now, Trump is thrilled to have racial flashpoints ignited again and again, as that keeps the focus on our “dangerous” leftist mobs — and scares potential swing voters who at first were sympathetic. Then he can trumpet LAW and ORDER and shake these vulnerable voters. 

But if the protesters — being purely tactical — leave the streets and go quiet, then Law and Order loses it’s potency, and the country has to focus back on other issues where Trump is flailing. But what of getting racial justice, then?  Of course Black Lives Matter, more than ever. But what if ---

If they are motivated to put justified outrage into political groundwork like GOTV, and tell our brethren that the best protest now is an overwhelming turnout against Trump, then that in the end is much more productive. For that gets us a president Biden (and Kamala) who is human and can constructively dialog and act on the issue. 

If Trump returns (Heaven, no!), then it’s all quashed anyway. We don’t want to win a battle and vent, only to lose a bigger war.
