Nah, it’s not another money-related crime
although it’s been blatantly apparent for some time that a whole lot of THAT has been going on (see NY AG Letitia James and the banking related crimes by Trump under investigation out of that Office, related to the banking records on Trump she subpoenaed and received over a year ago — the news of which broke only a few weeks ago).
This one is a more dangerous crime.
Trump suggests his supporters vote twice “to test the system”…
Donald Trump: Send in your ballots. Send them in strong. Whether it’s solicited or unsolicited, the absentees are fine, we have to work to get ‘em, you know, mean something. And you send ‘em in but you go to vote, and if they haven’t counted it, you can vote. So, that’s the way I view it.
When asked about these comments the response from Attorney General William Barr: He’s trying to make the point that the ability to monitor the system is not good. and if it was so good, if you tried to vote a second time you would be caught, if you voted in person.
Wolf Blitzer of CNN: That would be illegal if they did that. If somebody mailed in a ballot and then actually showed up to vote in person. That would be illegal.
AG William Barr: I don’t know what the law in the particular state says.
Wolf Blitzer: You can’t vote twice.
There is a law about this sort of shenanigans, a federal law:
Prohibited acts under US Code Title 52-VOTING AND ELECTIONS
(c) False information in registering or voting; penalties
Whoever knowingly or willfully gives false information as to his name, address or period of residence in the voting district for the purpose of establishing his eligibility to register or vote, or conspires with another individual for the purpose of encouraging his false registration to vote or illegal voting, or pays or offers to pay or accepts payment either for registration to vote or for voting shall be fined not more than $10,000 or imprisoned not more than five years, or both: Provided, however, That this provision shall be applicable only to general, special, or primary elections held solely or in part for the purpose of selecting or electing any candidate for the office of President, Vice President, presidential elector, Member of the United States Senate, Member of the United States House of Representatives, Delegate from the District of Columbia, Guam, or the Virgin Islands, or Resident Commissioner of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
(e) Voting more than once
(1) Whoever votes more than once in an election referred to in paragraph (2) shall be fined not more than $10,000 or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.
Trump fears he is going to lose on November 3rd
and he is prepared to do or say any and everything he can to prevent it from happening. Right down to violating the most basic tenet of America — we elect our leaders and every person gets ONE vote.
Of all the shady and nefarious behavior on the part of the man who Occupies the Oval Office this is the worst, because it’s attacking the very action which made this nation the oldest living democracy on the face of the Earth.
One (wo)man
One vote
He doesn’t just want to kill the people...
He wants to kill our DEMOCRACY and install a fascist, authoritarian state with a “president for life” at the helm.
He is not really joking here, he’s said it far too many times now for it to be anything less than #1 on his Wish List.
After all, if he’s president for life then he’ll never be open to legal prosecution, now will he?
Don’t let him get away with this.
Do whatever you can
to encourage people to Get Registered and voting (ONCE ONLY) this November 3rd. Share voting sites to help people do it online and in a short period of time.
TIME IS RUNNING OUT in many states to get registered in time to vote in November!

Do your part
to increase Voter Participation on November 3rd — and the new Attorney General of the Biden/Harris Administration will no doubt put the investigation of these and other possible crimes committed by Donald J Trump, under color of law, and indict and prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law.
