Hi! Today’s my first day as a member of the Daily Kos community—I mean, I’ve always been a reader, but today I joined as a real-live community contributor. I’m a writer, so the way I’m going to cope with this election season is to write my way through it.

I’ll be sharing my insights on the political landscape of my home: the Driftless Area in the southwestern corner of the brilliant purple state of Wisconsin. First substantive post soon, but for now, I just wanted to say “hi!”
