Fox “News” has taken its mission to prop up a dismal president to a whole new level. In its desperate effort to portray the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (“CHAZ”) as a librul threat to America, the Seattle Times revealed today that it has been digitally altering images in “a clear violation of ethical standards for news organizations.”
(Of course those of us that pay attention to these things have known for years that Fox was never a news organization, just a propaganda tool for the right wing—but I digress . . .)

A few choice examples:
Fox’s website for much of the day featured a photo of a man standing with a military-style rifle in front of what appeared to be a smashed retail storefront. The image was actually a mashup of photos from different days, taken by different photographers
In addition, Fox’s site for a time on Friday ran a frightening image of a burning city, above a package of stories about Seattle’s protests . . . The photo actually showed a scene from St. Paul, Minnesota, on May 30
The Seattle Times promptly challenged FAUX, who removed the images from its website. There are more examples in the article.
This sort of thing, along with Trump’s demand that CNN retract a poll whose results he didn’t like make me feel like we’re living in a communist country. We need to start calling Fox “News” for what it is:
FOX PROPAGANDA
[P.S., I can’t wait to see what the Orange One has to say about this--after all, there’s nothing more he hates than fake news!]
