While the drama plays out over Trumps double set of tax records, the GOP is rushing to utilize it’s own second set of books...their un-official “revised” version of the US Constitution.
2nd Amendment in both versions says.
“...the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.”
The following are absent from the revised GOP version.
15th Amendment: The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.
26th Amendment: The right of citizens of the United States, who are eighteen years of age or older, to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of age. (banning student ID)
There is only one Amendment related to holding onto a deadly weapon. There are FIVE related to preserving the right to vote to every citizen.
14th, 15th, 19th, 24th and 26th
Why do these seem to be ignored by Republican states when they are all part of the actual official US Constitution just as is the 2nd Amendment?
