Boise State bigots pitch hissy-fit over transgender player; Associated Press buries lede

Brutal tyrants seize power by scaring normal people into silence. Trump scored a victory today by bullying Boise State into leaving its NCAA conference over his fascist campaign against transgender athletes.

Worse yet, the Associated Press news story about the incident sanewashed Boise State’s cowardly decision by burying the university’s motive for leaving the Mountain West women’s volleyball tournament in the eighth paragraph.

Silence about MAGA injustice normalizes its cruelty. Fascist bullies are cowards who fear exposure.

Don’t stand silent.

Humanity has repeatedly seen the consequences of letting authoritarians oppress minorities.

Decent people will denounce Boise State’s compliance with Trump’s bigotry, to preserve the rule of law, for their own safety’s sake.
