Last-ditch Trump ad: "he will bring us together" - uh huh.

My husband is a Kansas City native and life-long KC Chiefs fan, so of course he had the game on. I wasn’t paying much attention, until suddenly I heard a Trump ad come on, saying how TFG will bring us together, and he is for all Americans. My ears perked up. Is this a joke? Maybe he’s following Melania’s example and stealing one of MVP Harris’s scripts?

Of course this was alternating during the same game with TFG ads on how Kamala Harris has destroyed the country, and crime is up, and the scary immigrants are coming for you, and the creepy trans. Pretty last-ditch effort, and not very convincing. The only thing even more out of character would have been to show him with a smiling little child, or petting a dog. If, that is, they could find a little kid who wouldn’t run away shrieking, or a dog who wouldn’t pee on his shoes.

Did anyone else see this? Were you moved to tears by his conversion to unity and kindness? Or were you laughing too hard?
