Trolley-rigging: Trumpian claims are always about force or its threat and always without evidence

The trolley problem: should you pull the lever to divert the runaway trolley onto the side track? — The trolley problem is a series of thought experiments in ethics, psychology, and artificial intelligence involving stylized ethical dilemmas of whether to sacrifice one person to save a larger number.

In a few hours, there will be page-turning by voters, who might be also ‘the enemy within’. Because it makes pulling the switch easier regardless of the decision.

A hypothetical horse, Pegasus, has a counterfeit complete with horse’s ass and has finally reached election day, and might even be on the trolley tracks. Trumpists have never not been about using force or its threat to achieve their goals (Project 2025).

Tomorrow, or only a few days later, we’ll have less to worry about and more to celebrate because there are fewer American voters who want fascism.

In 2017, a group led by Michael Stevens performed the first actual trolley-problem experiment, where subjects were convinced that a train was going to hit 5 people if they didn't pull the lever, and 1 person if they did.
