What are you doing today, Christmas Day?

Christmas pie. I like pie.

Americans typically engage in a variety of activities on Christmas Day, but the most common ones include, according to Pew from 10 years ago:

• Opening Gifts 

• Sharing a Holiday Meal

• Watching Christmas Movies

• Attending Church Services

• Baking and Eating Christmas Treats

• Watching Sports.

• Enjoying Outdoor Activities.

• Volunteering and Giving Back

• Playing Board Games and Card Games

• Spending Time with Family and Friends (online or in person)

I’ll add: 

• Screw around online (gaming, Daily Kos) 

• Work.  Approximately 10% of Americans work today.

We don’t do Christmas in my family. I plan to work a few hours, screw around here on the Daily Kos, spend time with my wife and one of our kids (the other is off in parts known) and maybe watch a Christmas movie.
