DJT interviewers should stop him whenever he lies and challenge them. A case in point was during his fiasco at the National Association of Black Journalists annual convention yesterday. I know, I know, how would that even be possible considering everytime he speaks he lies!
Among the litany of lies he told yesterday was the WHOPPER that he didn’t know VP Harris was black “until a number of years ago,” at least, in his deranged mind. As I recall, however, the interviewer did try to squeeze in the fact that VP Harris went to a black college, but it was barely audible over his incessant blathering!
It’s a reasonable assumption to conclude that considering she went to Howard University graduating in 1986, and belonged to the all black Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority founded at Howard University more than a centtury ago, that she acknowledged her black heritage more than “a number of years ago.” Apparently, though, DJT’s opo research team missed that, or DJT just forgot!
That notwithstanding, DJT continued his gish gallup of lies talking over the interviewer as is if she wasn’t even on the stage with him, and told another lollapalooza lie that VP Harris didn’t pass the bar exam. This was meekly challenged, but again barely audible, because DTG was on another verbal, nonsensical roll at the time.
The interviewer immediately should have asked if she didn’t pass it (which she didn’t on her first try when only about 44% of students passed it on the first try), how did she become a California trial lawyer prosecuting folks who committed a variety of crimes, was elected San Francisco’s DA in 2004, followed by being elected California’s Attorney General in 2010, and then being re-elected in 2014.
Those who interview DJT need to be prepared with the facts necessary to refute his constant lying otherwise he will continue to do so and get away with it. His lying words convinced over 60,000,000 Americans to vote for him in the 2016 presidential election. They believed his lies and ushered into the Oval Office the worst, most corrupt, and most dangerous president in the history of America, and he has continued to spew them ever since he lost in 2020! To make matters even worse, he conned more than 74,000,000 people into voting for him then, based on his lies and ludicrous promises!
Words have power and false ones shouldn’t be allowed to linger in the atmosphere for any length of time. Interviewers need to call DJT out whenever he lies. If they don’t, the consequences could be tragic for this country!
