Just in case you thought that the press hasn’t turned on a dime in their (finally) decent coverage of TFG’s very sad, very tired one trick pony-show, think again. There  are the headlines from my Google news feed this morning:  “Republicans reel”,  “train wreck” and “lies” and “falsely suggests” (ok, the Chicago Sun-Times coulda done better with the much simpler word, lies). This is real. The press has found a new shiny to play with. 

This is not hedging. This is the truth with 95 days to go. C’mon black women, black men, LGBTQI+, white women, white dudes. Get out and get to work. We’ve got the first woman president of the United States to elect.

The Republican former president wrongly claimed that Harris, the first Black woman and Asian American to serve as vice president, had in the past only promoted her Indian heritage.

“I didn’t know she was Black until a number of years ago when she happened to turn Black and now she wants to be known as Black. So, I don’t know, is she Indian or is she Black?” Trump said while addressing the group’s annual convention.
