More like a park that extends out over the water than an actual shipping pier, the St Pete Pier is a favorite spot of mine to hang out all morning and see some local wildlife. On weekends there are local vendors, and there are a number of places here to get lunch or dinner.

An Anhinga dries its wings. They usually prefer fresh water and I don’t see them in the Bay very often.
