Election Stressing You Out? Try GOTV Postcard Campaigns!

I was already enthused about Activate America’s postcard campaigns, but now there is something that feels even more timely — GOTV efforts in swing states. From above link:

Activate America is working with the Turnout Education Fund and Movement Labs to conduct a 501(c)(3) compliant Vote By Mail (VBM) enrollment program in Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The program focuses on voters who are Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPoC) and are not enrolled in VBM, urging them to request a ballot and reminding them to return their ballot prior to Election Day.

I’ve just finished two rounds for Pennsylvania, and getting started on Michigan. Feels so good to be doing this. Please join me! There seem to be plenty of addresses to go around. You won’t be sorry! If you go to above link (here it is again — www.activateamerica.vote/...), it should be pretty straightforward to find these campaigns. If not, let me know and I’ll update this diary.

If you are not signed up with Activate America, it’s very easy, and you can do as small of a batch as you want. My advice is to start small until you get into a rhythm and find out how many you can do without stressing yourself out. We need you healthy and happy, so you can do all the other things you do, and maybe help write postcards too!
