JD Vance went full rage on misogyny at Dana Bash on her CNN show. Tim Miller describes it as "The most shameful Interview in the History of American politics" and it's hard for me to disagree with him. He was so ugly, dismissive of, and condescending to her that it caused me to physically recoil from it. Vance and Trump have lured young males, even of color, towards a certain macho, S.D.E., incel, aggressive anti-egalitarian perspective of the world. These are the the big UFC fans, Joe Rogan viewers. Many young males are attracted to this vision of the world, but when he goes so extreme as to be so ugly and so blatantly disrespectful and condescending to women, I strongly suspect he loses a significant number of these young males.

There were multiple bomb threats in Springfield Ohio after Donald Trump and JD Vance not only spread this false bigoted Loomer conspiracy theory, but double and triple- downed on it. JD Vance knew they caused these bomb threats, but he felt so guilty about it that he had to attack her for pointing it out. Governor Josh Shapiro condemned JD Vance in her interview of him immediately afterwards, noting the timeline and how it's impossible to not connect their repeated efforts at spreading the bigoted Loomer conspiracy theory and the bomb threats that shortly followed.

Tim Miller said, "This morning JD Vance bounced around on the Sunday shows on CNN, NBC, and CBS. He delivered what I think is the most shameful performance that I've seen in politics. I don't really like to use hyperbole such as that, but I took some serious time this morning trying to think about the last interview round that I've seen that was anything as grotesque as what JD Vance did this morning. It was hard to come up with anything. I had said that I just re-watched the infamous Palin Couric interview a couple of weeks ago and what JD Vance is doing is just orders of magnitude more disgusting and more irresponsible (makes disgusted face) than anything Sarah Palin did. It's just kind of crazy to think about.
.
.
So, I want to dial in with you guys on one of the three interviews in particular because I think that it shows just the lengths of his mendacity. How far he is willing to go to advance his racist anti-immigrant arguments. So this is going to be a little bit from the Dana Bash interview. I am going to play a couple of segments for you. Here's the first one where JD Vance straight up admits that he is making up these stories.
JD Vance,'The American media totally ignored this stuff until Donald Trump and I started talking about cat memes. If I have to '
.
.
Dana Bash, 'It wasn't just a meme, sir. '
.
.
JD Vance ( trying to filibuster goes on speaking over her) said, "create stories so that the American media actually pays attention to the suffering of the American people then that's what I'm going to do, Dana, because you guys are completely letting Kamala Harris coast. "
.
.
Tim Miller, "I mean he literally admitted by accident he says,'If I have to create stories to get you guys to pay attention.' He says what he is doing. He doesn't. (Starts over). He gives away the game. At other points in the interview he keeps going back on this notion that he isn't really making it up, his constituents are saying this to him (shakes head), he doesn't provide any details.
.
.
At one point I think it was in the NBC interview, he does mention this video that Chris Rufo (spelling ?) an anti-woke wanna be MAGA intellectual type posted of allegedly migrants, but we really don't even know, all you can see in the video is his barbeque grill with what appears to me to be two chickens on it but they're claiming it's cats. But again it wasn't even in Springfield. This alleged incident. JD grill video (unintelligible) he mentions that, but he doesn't offer any details at any point in these interviews and then again he gives away the game by saying to Dana that he will keep doing this, he'll keep creating these stories if that achieves his end. It's just a purely Machiavellian defense of his lie. So later, there is an extended back and forth between Dana and JD where I must say as another aside on this, he keeps using her name in a way that is very grating to her, I don't know, it's not the shameful part of the interview, but once you notice it you can't un-notice it, 'Yeah Dana", 'Okay, Dana' , you know, it's very unappealing man. Let's listen to another clip from later in the interview where he tells Dana to shut up.
.
.
JD Vance, 'You accused me of causing a bomb threat. Doesn't that mean you should shut up about the residents of Springfield. Don't you realize you're engaged in basic propaganda to silence the
