I have a terrible migraine. As soon as I am able, I will add in transcript about the positive aspects of Vice President Harris that he spoke about. His emphasis was her significant additional support for small businesses and entrepreneurs. I will, again, add in the transcript as soon as I feel a little bit better so that I am up to it.
Brian Tyler Cohen interviewed Mark Cuban wearing his Kamala for president T-shirt. It was a very interesting interview. I don't agree with everything Mark says, but he's a smart guy who presents good arguments. He has a company that he started which is designed to bring transparency to the medication/pharmaceutical industry and lower prices. His website is costplusdrugs. So, he pitched his company and they discussed a lot of different topics.
Here are some of the things Mark said.
Mark Cuban said, "Yeah, that's the Roy Cohn school of management, right? You demonize , demonize and demonize and give credit to nobody else. And that is the antithesis of good leadership. That's the antithesis of good character. That's the antithesis of being ethical. That's who Donald Trump is. I've known him for twenty five years. I'm never going to say we were best friends, but he is the most unethical, lacks character, dishonest person I have ever done business with or worked with. "
Brian Tyler Cohen replied, "Why does that matter though? People are going to look at him as an asshole "
Mark Cuban agreed, "and they do "
Brian Tyler Cohen repeated, "but he's our asshole."
Mark Cuban went on and explicated, "But he's my asshole... Yeah, yeah, yeah. Character is destiny, right? You don't know. The one thing about the presidency of the United States, you don't know what's coming next? The past is no predictor of the future. You have no idea what the next problem is you have to deal with on a small or large basis. Like COVID for that matter right? And you want somebody who has character, that has empathy, that has a willingness to learn and understand. You want someone that is ethical when it comes to making difficult decisions. I can't even imagine why people will consider Donald Trump because of his lack of character and ethics. Because when that tough time comes to make a decision, he's only going to listen to himself and we've seen how that works out, right? We saw that on the debate. If he's not going to listen to anybody for a debate right when he's trying to convince people to vote for him, when you have 44 cabinet members disavow him and say that you shouldn't vote for him, you have former Republican presidents (error) , and senators come out and say don't vote for him, that is not a man of character. They would have given him the benefit of the doubt if they believed in his ethics or his character or that he was honest. That tells you all you need to know. You don't want somebody like that making, dealing with the uncertainty and as bad as lack of ethics,lack of character, lack of honesty is, the fact that he makes no effort to learn anything. This is one of the few human beings on the planet that get dumber in front of our face every single day. "
By the way, he offered a lot of positive arguments for Vice President Kamala Harris too. He didn't just offer negative arguments against Donald Trump. I am likely to include those in this diary as well if there is interest.
