Ok, Click Bait!!! Maybe. But I’m tired of the other narrative, that inflation is hurting everyone. So here are some indicators I’m seeing that indicates that the economy is good.
Donald Trump wants THIS economy built by Biden/Harris and not the one he left us in 2020. See, Donald is lazy and it’s much easier to claim someone else’s accomplishment as your own. VP Harris should stress this point when talking about the economy. Donald didn’t build a good economy he inherited one (the theme of that guys life) and left it a mess (another theme of his life) for someone else to clean up.
The stock market is at an all-time high. I know, most people are not invested but for me, my 403b is very healthy.
The Federal Reserve is going to start cutting its lending rate. They wouldn’t be doing that in an election year if they didn’t have to. But they do. Because at this point continuing to keep rates high will result in higher unemployment which they do not want to induce.
Traffic congestion. People are on the move and that doesn’t happen unless they have someplace to go and the money to get there. That means a job, hobby, or family obligations, a car, insurance (mostly) and money for the all important commodity, gasoline.
Full flights. I’m in the midst of my travel season and the flights are full. I have to reserve my seats well in advance to get the flights I want. Now, I’m in a position to be flexible with my plans but I like things a certain way so I have to pay the price for that but it’s worth it.
Community activities are well attended. Whether it’s a charities golf tournament, fundraising activity (boat ride, day party, crab feast) they are selling out around here. I’ve been to two churches that are undertaking multi-million dollar expansions. And I’m tired of buying popcorn for little league uniforms LOL.
Billionaires are shooting themselves into space. They have SO MUCH MONEY they have nothing better to do with it than to shoot themselves into space. Enough said about that.
Well, that’s my story and I’m happy with the job my government is doing. In fact it’s so good that Trump/Vance are left with making up stories about immigrants eating pets to have something to criticize. That is why I see NO REASON to change leadership. The Vice-President to the President who brought us from a near depression to the current state of prosperity is the only choice to keep the success going.
