My name is Jeremiah Prophet and as a with severe Cerebral Palsy, I endorse Kamala Harris to serve as the next President of the United States. There are 4 reasons I am endorsing Harris as the leader of the free world. First, Harris's economic package will include giving a fifty thousand dollar tax break to small startup businesses that have up to 500 employees. This means that the economy is going to see a boost of up to 30 thousand jobs more a month than what a potential Republican sweep would bring according to an economic analysis of the Wall Street bank Goldman Sachs. In addition to this, Vice-President Harris is promising to ensure a price gouging ban on those companies who have jacked up their respective prices on the products to an average American consumer. The Harris campaign wrote in a statement to ABCNEWS, "Extreme consolidation in the food industry has led to higher prices that account for a large portion of the grocery bills. By contrast, President Trump wants to get rid of PCAOB or the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board. This board is a non-profit corporation that oversees the audits of public companies and SEC-registered brokers . It aims to protect audit quality, protect consumers, and discipline public accounting firms that break the law. My second reason that I am supporting Vice-President Harris is the fact that she is Via better candidate for the disability community. According to an analysis by Edweek, Harris's platform calls for the full funding of the Individuals with Education Act. This means young people who have disabilities will enjoy the same rights that I had when I was going to school. In addition, a potential Harris administration promises efforts across all federal agencies to prioritize disability-inclusive recruitment strategies, diverse leadership, and full accessibility requirements for new federal technology timelines to update existing technologies. My third reason I support the Vice President is that she has a good plan to fix the southern border. Kamala Harris has proven herself to be a strong and capable leader who is dedicated to improving the economy, supporting the disability community, and securing our borders. Harris stated in the Presidential debate with President Trump that she would sign the bipartisan immigration deal that President Biden agreed to with the US Senate. This bill will put another 1500 border security agents along the southern border. making it harder for illegal immigrants to cross into our country. The last reason I am supporting Harris is that I know she will have our allies back. If Russia is allowed to win in Ukraine, Vladimir Putin will go further into Europe in his quest to get the old Soviet Union back together. If this happens, China will take back Taiwan creating a new power structure where the world would have three superpowers making it easier to fall into another cold war. As a journalist with severe Cerebral Palsy, I believe that Harris is the best candidate to lead our country forward and I am proud to endorse her for President of the United States. It is time for a leader who will prioritize the needs of all Americans, and I believe Kamala Harris is the right person for the job.
