Good morning! Today is the fifteenth Thursday that Donald Trump has been a convicted felon.

And it’s now just 13 days until his sentencing! Less two weeks! (Or some other very short period of time.)

Yesterday was Greg Dworkin’s first crack at the post-Labor Day news for the week. Today, his last. Because that’s the way weeks work. Or rather, I guess, that’s the way weeks retire, anyway.

With that out of the way, it’s now time once again to acknowledge that we begin today’s show Under the Cloud of a Mass Shooting.™ This time, one of the worst kind: a school shooting.

Heavy sigh.

Hey, no one can say for sure where the news will take us today. But one thing I did notice is that someone has noticed that Russia is up to some stuff.

I know, right? Hard to believe. It’s like the news isn’t even new anymore.
