It’s no secret that Arizona elections are close, we need only to look to just 4 short years ago, when President Biden and Vice President Harris won the state of Arizona by just 10,500 votes.
Flash forward to two years later, and our statewide elections have become even closer, with Katie Hobbs winning the Governor’s seat by just a couple thousand votes and Kris Mayes becoming our Attorney General by a margin of just 280 votes.
This shows what we’ve always known at Northeast Arizona Native Democrats, elections in Arizona are won in the slimmest of margins. This year, like the past 4 years, tribal votes will be the difference between having the first ever woman president in the White House or a tyrant.

In the past 4 years, while Democrats have been winning by the skin of their teeth, we’ve been on the ground running the most successful voter turnout program in the state. Our program works because we work around the clock to provide native voters with everything they need to get to the ballot box and make informed decisions.
This year, we plan to send out slate cards to every single registered Democrat on sovereign lands in NE Arizona. Our slate cards help voters understand the 2024 ballot and the candidates who share their values. This is crucial, because native voters have multiple roadblocks to accessing information from lack of access to the internet and minimal cell service. Roadblocks voters in urban areas don’t face.

When native voters have trusted information about the candidates and issues appearing on their ballot, they overwhelmingly vote Democrat. We know this because when we ran this same program in 2022, thousands of voters showed up to the polls with our slate card in hand.
We have identified 48,261 Democrats on sovereign lands who to send these cards to when early ballots drop. We need $21,000 to send to all of them. Please donate as generously as possible to help us do so.
