…half the population is below that. I assume that means both intellectual and ethical and emotional intelligence.
Here is the first line from the article coming next. U.S. Representative Dustin M. Johnson of South Dakota announced the introduction of a bill to authorize President-elect Donald Trump to purchase the Panama Canal and place it under U.S. control.
The Panama Canal Buyback Act was indeed introduced on January 9.
Here in Panama, Martyrs Day was nationally observed. Alcohol was not for sale, there were marches where some Pretendsident 49% pictures were burned, and generally most people stayed home to remember. And remember they do. So the proposed bill being introduced on January 9 will be very interpreted by Panamanians. And my personal interpretation of this being introduced on January 9, the same day as President Carter was internationally remembered, is that Johnson is a dick. Or stupid. Or both. Thus I question the ethical and emotional and regular intelligence of Johnson.
And the proposed bill itself seems rather vague. Signed by 15 others (who cares) Johnson said this to explain.“President Trump is right to consider buying back the Panama Canal. China’s interest and presence in the canal is a cause for concern. The United States must project strength abroad – owning and operating the Panama Canal could be an important step toward a stronger America and a safer world.”
I live in Panama. There are no Chinese troops here. But, this bill would would authorize Pretendsident 49% and the Secretary of State, to “initiate and carry out negotiations with the authorities of the Government of the Republic of Panama for the purpose of reacquiring the Panama Canal.” (Bolding mine) Reacquiring seems like it could have more than one interpretation. Buying, taking, stealing…
But then it gets tricky for Pretendsident 49% and the Secretary of State, if there will be an approved Secretary of State within the time frame. The two of them will be “required to submit a report within 180 days of the bill’s approval, detailing the progress of negotiations, potential challenges and expected outcomes.” So six months. Around July 4 or so depending on when and if this bill does indeed get enough necessary votes in Congress. And six more months of decline for Pretendsident 49%. Marco Rubio does not seem much brighter.
Will there be similar bills proposed for Greenland and Canada?
