Good morning, everyone.
I have to admit, I had never heard of Bad Bunny until it was announced he was invited to star in the next Superbowl’s halftime show. This piqued my curiosity so I gave a few of his videos a listen. Mind you, I don’t speak Spanish. I didn’t understand much of what he was saying but I like his sound.

Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio—aka Bad Bunny—is known as the King of Latin Trap, and for good reason. (Trap, in Puerto Rican slang, means the street, or, specifically, where you buy your illicit drugs.) He finds his inspiration in all different genres of music. This is one of the reasons he has brought trap music into worldwide popularity.
He took his name from the time when, as a child, he was made to dress up like a rabbit. He was not a happy camper about it.
Bad Bunny is also known for his progressive causes. He has been speaking out for humanitarian aid to Puerto Rico after Congress’s disgraceful neglect of the island after it was clobbered by Hurricane Maria. Since that, he has come to support Puerto Rican independence. He is also vocal in his support of GLBTQ rights. After murdered transwoman Alexa Negron Luciano was misgendered by the press, he wore a shirt on Jimmy Fallon’s show that said, “They killed Alexa. Not a man in a dress.”

Now on with the music.
