Dems Must Walk Out on Budget Vote Unless Grijalva is Sworn in First

Democrat Adelita Grijalva, who was elected on September 23 to serve Arizona’s 7th district in the U.S. House of Representatives, has still not been seated. Based on Mike Johnson’s past behavior, there is no assurance that Grijalva will sworn in when the House goes into session, probably later this week. Walking out will not deprive Johnson of a quorum to pass the bill unless some GOP members go AWOL, but it will make a statement.
