There are rumblings. We are furious. We need, want, have to make them pay! Many CEOs of mega-corporations ponied up to Trump, toadies all, scared of the big bad bully. Coca-Cola, Amazon, Meta, Ford, and many others, donated millions to his inauguration! Are you using Instagram? It’s owned by Meta, i.e., Mark Zuckerberg…who donated a million bucks! Amazon and Whole Foods tycoon Jeff Bezos also contributed a million to the inauguration. Home Depot, Target, Walmart, Amazon, Tractor Supply…the list gets longer every day…are all dismantling their DEI departments!
It’s time for us to make them pay by boycotting their products! Why give Jeff Bezos another dime by using Amazon and Whole Foods?
I quit Amazon the minute I saw the news about the Trump-Bezos connection during the election. Closed my account, cancelled Prime, done. I will not shop or use the services of any company once I find any info about their support of Trump. It’s something we can all do to make a statement, to protest the billionaire-ocracy.
And it’s already started! There are plans for shopping blackouts already in play. Pick your targets, be vigilant, stay away in droves! How much will it cost them if all the furious, disgusted folks across the country stay out of stores, stay offline. Instead, shop small and shop local. Smile while you do it. Could be fun!
